Dr. Sunday Akin Olukoju

Sunday Olukoju joined Athabasca University in June 2011. He is the individualized study tutor for POEC/GLST 230 and 483.

Dr. Olukoju received his Ph.D. from Walden University in the US. He has also studied in Nigeria and Canada. Before joining Athabasca, he was a faculty member at TUI in the US, and (former) Meritus University in Canada.

Some of Dr. Olukoju's areas of research interests include migration and multiculturalism; as well as the relationship between the global South and North. In addition to serving as a reviewer for Franklin Publishing Company in the US, he is also on the board of few non-profit organizations in Canada. Dr. Olukoju is a community correspondent of a local community newspaper, a diversity consultant with the Manitoba Diversity Training Program, and an adult learners' student advisor at a publicly funded college.
